My latest excursion into yet another, new life’s experience began about 5 weeks ago with an invitation from a charming young lady to try some square dancing lessons. Bolstered by pleasant memories of this style of dance from junior high school days, I readily agreed. Stop by Saturday and we will talk about this geriatric dancer’s encounter with The Johnny Appleseed Squares and a very stimulating challenge. Whew!

Nice job Terry! You have captured exactly how I felt 2 1/12 years ago when I was learning Western Style Square Dancing. I hope that your attendance at our Christmas Dance last weekend opened your eyes to all of the fun that you can have square dancing. You'll never meet a friendlier or nicer bunch of people. Nancy and I have really enjoyed the past couple of years of dancing, and only wish that we had started sooner.

Keep up the good work at those grueling Thursday night sessions, and watch for some high/low dances that will give you the opportunity to go out and practice what you have learned.
