Karen had a question on today's blog and Son Craig mentioned flying squirrels in the comment section. Here's one of those critters.
He was enjoying a snack on a thistle feeder when this picture was taken.They are not alarmed by close human presence and there are often several of them scurrying about in the near-by darkness of a summer evening.
